Joseph Allen Dennison
January 1, 1932 ~ May 21, 2023 (age 91) 91 Years Old
Be the first to offer your condolences on Joseph Allen's Tribute Wall
Loving father of Kelly, Sue and Beverly, passed away at home on May 21, 2023 with all of his daughters at his side.
Joe spent his career in the automotive equipment business. He started as a salesman for Welch & Johnston in Pembroke and worked his way up to Vice-President of Chart Industries and Hein Werner Canada before starting his own successful business. Joe ran Budget Automotive in Brighton, Ontario for 21 years before retiring to Russell, Ontario at age 89.
Joe retired from his work but not from his hobbies. He loved to spend time in his wood working shop, riding his John Deere tractor, playing pool and enjoying a dip in the backyard pool. He was a great conversationalist and loved having visitors. He especially loved spending time with his family, as often as possible. Despite recent illnesses and time in hospitals, Joe never lost his positive outlook. He had an unequivocal impact on all who know him that will be felt for years to come. Joe will be lovingly remembered and missed.
Joe is survived by daughters Kelly, Sue and Beverly (Bernard), grandchildren Brady, Amanda (Andrew), Kyle (Lindsey), Calvin (Zoe) and Dennis, and great granddaughters Ava, Ashtyn, Brooklyn, Freya and Georgia. He is also survived by his sister June, along with many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents Orme and May, brother Bob (Marion) and wives (Eleanor and Diane).
A private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or to a charity of your choice.
